“What whisky will not cure, there is no cure for”- old Irish proverb

Hello! Lets first start by introducing myself. My name is Justin, I am one of the owners/founders of The Pint Pot Public House here in Eugene,Oregon.  I have been in the Hospitality industry for going on 30 years.  I have worked in all types of places and worked every aspect of a bar or restaurant.

I fell in love with Whisk(e)y the first time I tried it, hahah, you can thank my grandma for that. Nothing like a thimble of scotch to put a baby to bed. But no really, I have become increasingly more interested in all types of whisk(e)y over the years as I’m sure most of you have as well.  I have met most of you, but for those that have not met me, I sincerely look forward to meeting you in person.

Welcome to the Pint Pot Whisk(e)y Society.  You all are and will be the founding members of what I hope to be an amazing group of whisk(e)y enthusiasts and look forward to learning about, trying and tasting new whisk(e)y with each and every one of you. I am excited for all the fun tastings, whisk(e)y dinners and event for years to come.
The club membership is now closed and no new members will be added until next year,  With St.Patrick’s Day fast approaching the pub is getting busier and busier. I plan on having the first Whisk(e)y society get together in April and that will be a meet and greet and social hour event. I will email invites sometime soon. :-).  I will have some new and hard to find bottles to taste.

All members, if you are not a mug club member already, I will have a VIP pass available soon for you to our annual St.Patrick’s Day Celtic Event. As always, feel free to reach out any time and I look forward to seeing all of you at the pub for a wee dram of something tasty.
